Welcome Families!

Family Services will highlight and celebrate the experience of family members of Special Olympics athletes attending the first ever 2006 Special Olympics USA National Games.  Family members’ experiences will be enhanced through increased opportunities for interaction with the community and other families. 

 Families will:

• receive accurate, timely, and complete pre-games information

• enjoy a safe and inviting environment at all family venues (non-competition) and ceremonies so families feel welcome and can enjoy all aspects of the Games

• experience an atmosphere befitting a high level national competition by providing special opportunities not available to general spectators and volunteers.
